The City of Merced Public Works Department invites your proposal to perform landscape maintenance services at identified Community Facilities Districts (CFD). The selected vendor(s) shall perform the tasks specified in the “Scope of Services” listed within the Request for Proposal (RFP).
The proposer is required to abide by all applicable provisions of the Labor Code, including payment of the minimum prevailing wage rate as determined by the State Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a proposal or be awarded a contract for public work unless registered with the DIR pursuant to the Labor Code. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR.
A Class C-27 landscaping contractor’s license is required at the time your proposal is submitted. The contract agreement will be for a period of twenty-four (24) months, commencing on July 1, 2021 and ending on June 30, 2023. The City has the option to extend the terms of the agreement for one-to-three additional periods of one-year, ending on June 30, 2026.
Proposals must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
