43rd Annual Fire & Cops for Kids Toy Drive

Every Christmas, the Merced Police Department and the Merced City Fire Department collect and distribute toys to the underprivileged children in our community. The program is open to families with children aged 11 and under. The Department gathers new, unwrapped toys beginning in September and then distributes them before Christmas. The Department works with the community and is assisted by merchants in the collection of toys. This is a program that continues to grow each year benefiting many underprivileged children in Merced.

Merced Police and Fire for Kids Toy Drive is accepting 300 applications for the 2024 Toy Drive.  The Toy Drive is for children ages 0 to 11 years old.  Interested parties can fill out an application starting on September 16th online. You will be required to come in to our Central Police Station and provide the following documents to complete the application process: your ID, proof of city residency and children’s ID or document that provides their age.
