October 9th - October 29th: Open Enrollment Period 

Review each of the sections below for more information about Open Enrollment, benefits offered as part of the City of Merced's Cafeteria Plan, and dates to remember. If you have any questions about Open Enrollment, or this website, please contact the Insurance Department.

Our Open Enrollment platform will be administered by Benefit Coordinators Corporation (BCC) for the 2024 plan year. You will be able to access this system from your work, or home, computer. A PowerPoint presentation providing an overview of the enrollment process will be posted to this website when Open Enrollment begins.

We are participating in what is known as a soft open enrollment. This means you do not have to participate in open enrollment if you do not wish to make changes to your health care benefits.

Flexible Spending (FSA), if you wish to participate in FSA during the 2024 Plan Year you must complete your enrollment through the Benxcel Open Enrollment Platform.
