To report a street light that has gone out, call Public Works at 385-6800 or send us an e-mail at publicwks@cityofmerced.org. It is helpful if you have the street light pole number when you call in. As in the photo below, the pole number is about two feet up from the base of the pole.

If the light is mounted on a wooden pole, PG&E maintains it and can be reached at 1-800-743-5002. The photo below is a PG&E pole.
